I love words like, helpful, simple, elementary, basic, plain, or phrases like, bottom line, cut to the chase, the skinny, or heck, it’s not that complicated.
And when humans get lost in spiritual concepts that are complex, sophisticated, nuanced, and arcane, its usually one of two;
1. They’ve got the cart before the horse.
2. The horse is locked up in the cart.
I prefer a wild horse, doing his own thing and me, just writing what glimpses I get of his majesty.
For example, this is how I tend to see this epic story;
A bunch of savage and religious zealots, experts in Moses’ law, drug a prostitute right off her steaming bed, onto the street, and thrust her in front of a person who built a hundred billion galaxies.
They said, “according to the law, she’s to be stoned”.
The Rock, caught between religion and a woman he loved to death, knelt at her feet and wrote a message in the dirt.
It was the only thing he ever wrote.
I read dirt and write about it.
